Delightful Experience @ Ricas Frutaletas & Ice Cream in Othello, WA !! This local ice cream shop was recommended and it did not disappoint! We strolled in on a Saturday night and were met by a full staff who were friendly and prepared to take our order. The restaurant itself was immaculate, aesthetically pleasing with vibrant decor, and had many tables and booths in their dining area. The order counter featured an extensive menu board, abundant flavor options of Frutaletas frozen bars, ice cream, and toppings. The excellent customer service stood out the most and we thoroughly enjoyed our sweet treats! Thank you.
This place is one-of-a-kind - they make all of their popsicles in-house with real fruit. If you are driving by Othello, you must stop by. Note the address is incorrect - just turn into town at the Subway and keep going almost about 7-8 blocks. You can't miss it!
Gotta try the frutaleta! You can never go wrong with their fresh waters, or the home made ice creams and of course frutaletas.
Still delicious! My husband and I eacpurchased Horchata Ice Milk. Delicious!! The place is clean inside snd out. The employees do speak English! I want to update my review from two years ago, when I said they did not. The menu signs are all in English. My daughter ordered espresso and birthday cake ice-cream in a waffle cone. "It was great!" she said.
This place is a favorite of mine whenever I'm in Othello. They have a great selection of Mexican paletas. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because they serve their namesake frutaleta frozen and that wasn't the case a couple of years ago. Still a must stop if you are in the area.
I had the tamarind/strawberry fruit smoothy with fresh lime and a sprinkle of Chile pepper salt on it. Delicious. Unlike most ice cream shops they do not offer free samples. Wide array of flavors for the ice cream, popsicles, and fruit smoothies.
